A nurse practitioner is an advanced registered nurse educated and trained to provide health promotion and maintenance through the diagnosis and treatment of acute illness and chronic condition.


Our Practice Nurse team currently consists of 1 Nurse Practitioner and 2 Practice Nurses who are highly trained and qualified. They work very closely with the doctors and are trained to do an extensive number of procedures and tests. They may work along with the doctors on new patient assessments,etc. You may book directly with them for such services as routine blood pressure checks, cholesterol tests and medical advice via the doctor.

She is responsible for the smooth running of the practice and maintaining a happy and committed team. She would be happy to hear your views and suggestions about the services offered by the practice.


The Registration Secretary deals with the registration of new patients and the removal of patients leaving the practice. The Summariser keeps patients' clinical records up to date on the computer.


All our staff are there to help you and are pleased to do so. The receptionists are your link with the rest of the practice. They may need to ask you medical details in order to work effectively and at all times are working under the instructions of the doctors. All information given to them is treated in confidence and they are bound by the same code of conduct as the doctors and nurses. The more information you are able to give to the girls, the better they will be able to assist you. It is a difficult and demanding job - please be patient and courteous to our staff at all times.


The Secretaries deal with any enquiries regarding letters that your doctor may have written about you. They also deal with correspondence between the practice and outside agencies such as hospital outpatient departments, private consultants, solicitors and insurance companies. Please ring the secretaries who will be pleased to help you.

PCN Pharmacists

Clinical pharmacists work as part of the general practice team to improve value and outcomes from medicines and consult with and treat patients directly. This includes providing extra help to manage long-term conditions, advice for those on multiple medicines and better access to health checks. The role is pivotal to improving the quality of care and ensuring patient safety.

Community Nurses

District Nurses can be contacted by ringing: 020 8430 7126 The district nurses offer their services to our housebound patients, removal of stitches and dressing. We meet fortnightly in the practice for our Primary Care Meeting.
